First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a new approach called Dialogue Based Early Detection (DBED) in kindergartens. About 200 children will take part, with some kindergartens using DBED parent-teacher meetings and others using regular meetings. The goal is to see if DBED helps prevent mental health issues and makes it easier to spot children who need extra support. Researchers will follow the children for up to 5 years.
