First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests a pre-set treatment plan for heart rhythm issues that can occur after a minimally invasive aortic valve replacement (TAVR). The goal is to see if following a standard algorithm can reduce the need for permanent pacemakers while keeping patients safe from dangerous heart rhythms. Researchers will enroll 2,000 adults undergoing TAVR and track how often the plan is followed and how many patients need a pacemaker.
