Anonymous online therapy: a new way to prevent child abuse?

NCT ID NCT07424872

First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study uses an anonymous online survey to ask minor-attracted individuals and therapists what they would want in an online therapy tool. The goal is to understand how to make therapy more comfortable and accessible, which could help reduce the risk of child sexual abuse. About 100 adults who belong to one of the target groups (e.g., minor-attracted individuals, therapists, or general public) can join. No treatment is given—this is purely a research survey to gather opinions and preferences.
