First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study aims to prevent cervical cancer by using a rapid HPV test that women can do themselves, combined with AI-powered imaging, all in one visit. It will enroll 5,000 women in Honduras to see if this approach is accurate, feasible, and cost-effective compared to current methods. The goal is to make screening and treatment faster and more accessible, especially in low-resource areas.
