First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study will check if low progesterone levels in the first trimester are linked to threatened abortion (bleeding that may lead to miscarriage) in women who become pregnant while breastfeeding. Researchers will measure progesterone in 150 lactating pregnant women and track who has bleeding or pregnancy loss. The goal is to better understand this risk and help prevent early pregnancy loss.
