Could a simple hormone gel replace traditional fertility shots?
NCT ID NCT07466199
Summary
This small pilot study aims to understand if vaginal progesterone gel can trigger ovulation in healthy egg donors. Researchers want to see if this hormone causes the natural LH surge needed for egg maturation. About 10 young women will receive mild ovarian stimulation followed by progesterone, with blood tests and egg retrieval to measure the response.
