Can a simple blood test predict miscarriage risk for breastfeeding moms?
NCT ID NCT07357922
Summary
This study aims to understand if progesterone levels in the blood are linked to the risk of threatened miscarriage (early pregnancy bleeding) in women who get pregnant while breastfeeding. Researchers will measure progesterone levels in 150 breastfeeding pregnant women during their first trimester and see if lower levels are connected to bleeding and pregnancy loss. The goal is to gather information that might help identify women at higher risk earlier.
