Could a common hormone improve outcomes in preterm preeclampsia?

NCT ID NCT02989025

First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether giving a form of progesterone (17 OHPC) to pregnant women diagnosed with preeclampsia before 34 weeks can improve health outcomes for both mother and baby. Researchers will monitor blood pressure and other factors in 60 participants. The goal is to manage the condition and delay delivery, not to cure preeclampsia.
