First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looked at whether giving a higher dose of vaginal progesterone to women with low progesterone levels on the day of embryo transfer could improve the chance of an ongoing pregnancy. 87 women undergoing a single frozen embryo transfer in an artificial cycle took part. The researchers compared two different doses of progesterone to see which led to more pregnancies with a detectable heartbeat.
