Higher hormone dose tested to boost IVF success

NCT ID NCT04806919

Summary

This study tested whether giving a higher daily dose of progesterone hormone improves pregnancy rates for women undergoing IVF. It focused on patients whose progesterone levels were low on the day their frozen embryo was transferred. Researchers compared giving the hormone twice daily versus three times daily to see which was better at supporting an ongoing pregnancy.
