Summary

This study looked at whether taking probiotics for 30 days can change the gut bacteria and the substances they produce in frail elderly people who rely on home tube feeding. 27 participants were randomly assigned to receive either probiotics or a placebo. The goal was to see if probiotics could improve gut health and reduce digestive problems.
