This study tested whether a daily probiotic drink can slow the buildup of calcium in blood vessels (vascular calcification) in people with advanced chronic kidney disease. 84 adults took either the probiotic or a placebo for 6 months. Researchers tracked kidney function, bone health, and inflammation to see if the supplement offered any protective benefit.
