NCT ID NCT07384130
First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether a daily probiotic lozenge can reduce bad breath caused by a sulfur-containing amino acid (cysteine) in healthy adults. Forty volunteers will take either the active lozenge or a placebo for 13 days. Breath sulfur levels will be measured before and after treatment to see if the probiotics help.
