Can probiotics help kids with autism by fixing their gut?
NCT ID NCT06352203
Summary
This study is testing whether a daily probiotic supplement can improve the balance of gut bacteria in young children with autism who also have stomach problems. About 60 children, aged 3 to 7, will take either the probiotic or a placebo (a dummy pill) for six months. Researchers will check if the children's gut bacteria look healthier after the treatment.
