Summary
This study tested whether a treatment containing beneficial bacteria (probiotics) was safe and could help reduce stomach and gut problems in children with autism. It involved 18 children aged 7-17 who had both autism and significant gastrointestinal symptoms. Researchers tracked changes in stomach issues, behavior, and safety over the course of the treatment.
