First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving a special mix of probiotics to breastfed infants who received antibiotics in their first month of life can help prevent allergies. Researchers will compare allergy rates and gut bacteria changes in 400 babies over 12 months. The goal is to see if probiotics can restore healthy gut balance disrupted by antibiotics and reduce the risk of allergic diseases.
