Gut-Skin link: can probiotics calm acne inflammation?
NCT ID NCT07277075
Summary
This study aimed to see if taking probiotic supplements could reduce levels of a specific protein (LRG1) linked to inflammation in people with mild to moderate acne. It involved 50 adult participants and measured changes in this marker, acne severity, and how satisfied patients felt. The goal was to better understand if targeting gut health could help control skin inflammation.
