Scientists probe if probiotics can rescue your gut after antibiotics
NCT ID NCT07425704
Summary
This study aims to understand how taking probiotic supplements affects the community of bacteria in your gut (the microbiome) before and after a course of antibiotics. Researchers will enroll 50 healthy adults aged 18-40 who have been prescribed a specific oral antibiotic. Participants will provide stool samples and track their digestive symptoms to see if probiotics help restore gut health after antibiotic treatment.
