Summary

This study tests whether taking a daily probiotic (OMNi-BiOTiC® Hetox) after spine surgery can improve healing, reduce pain, and lower complications. About 110 adults with herniated discs or spine instability will be randomly assigned to receive the probiotic or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the probiotic leads to less disability three months after surgery.
