First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tested whether a probiotic mixture could improve rosacea symptoms over 12 weeks. 70 adults with papulopustular rosacea took either the probiotic or a placebo. The main goal was to see if the probiotic could reduce skin severity by at least 2 levels on a 0-6 scale, aiming for clear or almost clear skin. The approach focuses on managing the condition rather than curing it.
