New Non-Hormonal duo targets Menopause's painful side effect
NCT ID NCT06978907
Summary
This study tested whether adding a daily probiotic supplement to a vaginal laser treatment works better than the laser alone for relieving symptoms like dryness, itching, and pain during sex in menopausal women. It involved 75 women who were not satisfied with or could not use standard estrogen treatments. Researchers compared symptom relief and changes in vaginal bacteria between the two groups over three months.
