Friendly bacteria vs. sore throats: can a lozenge stop Kids' repeat infections?

NCT ID NCT07235826

Summary

This study is testing if a daily probiotic lozenge can help children who get frequent tonsil infections. Kids aged 3-11 will take either the probiotic or a dummy pill for several months to see if it reduces how often and how long they get sick. The goal is to see if this natural approach can lead to fewer infections, less antibiotic use, and fewer missed school days.
