This study tests whether taking a special probiotic (OMNi-BiOTiC® Hetox) can improve healing, reduce pain, and lower complications after spine surgery. About 110 adults with disc problems or spine instability will receive either the probiotic or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the probiotic leads to better function and less disability three months after surgery.
