Gut bug boost tested for Tots' tummy troubles
NCT ID NCT07360535
Summary
This study tested whether a specific probiotic (a type of 'good' bacteria) could help ease constipation in infants and toddlers. Researchers compared the probiotic against a common laxative and a combination of both over 28 days. They measured how often children had bowel movements, stool consistency, and difficulty going, while also checking for changes in their gut bacteria.
