Summary

This early-stage study is investigating whether an enzyme from a probiotic can influence a specific immune signal in the gut called NOD2. Thirty healthy volunteers will take the probiotic for a period of time. Researchers will analyze participants' blood and stool samples to check for safety and measure changes in gut immune activity and barrier function.
