Summary
This study tested a special moisturizing cream containing a friendly bacteria called Lactobacillus reuteri to see if it could improve eczema symptoms in children. Forty children aged 6 months to 12 years with mild-to-moderate eczema used the cream for 8 weeks. The researchers measured changes in eczema severity using a standard scoring system.
