First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests a cream made with a specially coated probiotic (Lactobacillus reuteri) to see if it can improve acne by balancing skin bacteria. About 196 people with mild to moderate acne will use the cream for 2 weeks and be followed for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and reduces acne better than a plain moisturizer or standard treatment.
