Summary

This study tested whether a special probiotic chewing gum could help reduce belly fat and improve blood sugar control in people with abdominal obesity. 124 adults with a large waist circumference took part. The gum was designed to deliver a single strain probiotic, which previous research suggested might help with weight and metabolic health. The main goal was to see if the gum could shrink waist size over 12 weeks.
