First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This observational study looks at how a diet that causes inflammation might affect gum disease in people with metabolic syndrome. Researchers will check the gums and eating habits of 100 adults to see if a pro-inflammatory diet makes gum problems worse. The goal is to better understand the connection between diet, body-wide inflammation, and oral health.
