Summary
This study tests the safety of a new solution called Prismocitrate 18 in 40 adults who need continuous kidney dialysis (CRRT) in the hospital, often due to acute kidney injury. The solution helps prevent blood clots in the dialysis machine and replaces some kidney functions. Researchers will monitor for side effects like low or high calcium levels and citrate buildup over up to 10 days of treatment.
