Summary
This study tested a new way of managing Parkinson's disease that focuses on proactive, integrated care and patient empowerment. 214 adults with parkinsonism took part to see if this approach helps them better achieve their personal goals and improves their health and symptoms compared to usual care. The goal is to find a more effective and cost-efficient care model.
