NCT ID NCT07437209

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested two add-on treatments for gum disease in 15 adults. One group got a natural blood-clot material (PRF) mixed with an antibiotic (minocycline), the other got antibiotic microspheres (Arestin). Both were used alongside standard deep cleaning. The goal was to see which better reduces gum pockets and attachment loss. The study is complete, but results are not yet published.
