Could a Patient's own blood help fix jaw fracture numbness?

NCT ID NCT07319650

Summary

This study is testing if applying a special material made from a patient's own blood, called platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), during jaw fracture surgery can help heal nerve damage. The goal is to reduce numbness and tingling in the chin and lower lip. Researchers will compare recovery in patients who receive PRF during their standard surgery to those who do not.
