First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether a substance made from a patient's own blood (platelet-rich fibrin) can improve bone healing after removing a cyst from the jaw. Twenty adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the blood concentrate or standard care. The main goal is to see if the bone defect fills in better on 3D X-rays taken 6 months after surgery.
