New hope: eye injections may stop Radiation-Induced blindness

Summary
This study tests two different eye treatments to see if they can prevent vision loss in people who have had radiation therapy for a type of eye cancer called choroidal melanoma. The treatments are either an injection of faricimab or a tiny implant that slowly releases medicine. 600 participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of these treatments or just be watched closely. The goal is to find out if these treatments can help keep vision sharp over the long term.
