Simple extra clean step could stop Post-Surgery UTIs
NCT ID NCT07232446
Summary
This study is looking at whether an extra cleaning step on the vulva right before a bladder check during a hysterectomy can help prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs) after surgery. It will compare 200 women getting the standard cleaning to those who get this extra cleaning step. The goal is to see if this simple, quick addition to the surgery routine can keep patients healthier and more comfortable during recovery.
