First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether cilostazol, a drug that helps blood flow, can prevent more strokes and slow brain damage than aspirin or clopidogrel in people with cerebral small vessel disease. About 632 adults who recently had a stroke caused by small artery blockages will take one of the three drugs for comparison. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to reduce disability and improve long-term outcomes.
