Summary

This study tests a new device designed to help surgical teams keep accurate counts of items used during surgery, reducing the risk of leaving something inside a patient. About 30 adults having planned surgery at an NHS hospital will take part. Researchers will gather feedback through surveys and interviews to see if the device is easy to use and boosts confidence in the counting process.
