First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tested two drug combinations—aminophylline with acetaminophen versus aminophylline with dexamethasone—to prevent post-dural puncture headaches in 50 surgical patients who had experienced such headaches before. All participants received the drugs before spinal anesthesia. The goal was to see which combo better reduced the number and severity of headaches. The study is complete, but results are not yet published.
