Higher dose tested to stop painful complication after common procedure

NCT ID NCT07247682

Summary

This study aims to prevent a painful pancreas inflammation that can happen after a common medical procedure called ERCP. It will test if a 200 mg dose of a standard anti-inflammatory drug (indomethacin) works better than the usual 100 mg dose for over 1,000 high-risk patients. The goal is to see which dose is more effective at reducing the chance and severity of this complication.
