First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a new medicine called Fexuprazan can prevent stomach ulcers in people who need to take NSAID pain relievers (like ibuprofen) for at least 24 weeks. About 360 adults with joint or muscle pain will receive either Fexuprazan or an older ulcer-prevention drug. Researchers will check if Fexuprazan works as well as the older drug at preventing ulcers over 24 weeks.
