Summary

This study looks at two ways of setting breathing machine pressure during gynecologic laparoscopic surgery to see which better prevents lung collapse (atelectasis). One method uses a fixed standard pressure, while the other adjusts the pressure to each patient's lung stiffness. The study involves 72 women aged 18-65 having planned surgery, and uses lung ultrasound to check for collapse before, 1 hour after, and 24 hours after surgery.
