School program cuts teen internet use in half

Summary
This study tested a two-day educational program for high school students in Kathmandu, Nepal, designed to prevent internet addiction. 122 students took part, and those who received the program showed healthier attitudes and reduced their daily internet time compared to a group that did not. The results suggest that short, theory-based school lessons can help teens build better online habits.
