First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study compares three common drugs—lidocaine, paracetamol, and dexmedetomidine—to see which one works best at preventing pain when patients receive propofol and rocuronium injections before surgery. About 170 adults aged 18 to 65 having elective surgery will take part. Researchers will measure pain and involuntary movements during the injection to find the most effective option.
