First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at whether carefully controlling the amount of breast milk or formula given to babies of overweight or obese mothers could prevent them from becoming overweight at 6 months old. Researchers enrolled 60 mothers and their infants, and adjusted feeding volumes. The goal was to see if this simple step could lower the baby's risk of later obesity.
