Summary
This study tested a simple idea: carefully measuring and limiting the amount of milk or formula given to babies of overweight or obese mothers. The goal was to see if this could prevent the babies from becoming overweight by 6 months old. 60 mothers and their infants took part, with some babies getting breast milk and others formula. The approach aimed to avoid overfeeding and reduce the risk of childhood obesity.
