Summary
This study aims to prevent heart damage in patients receiving chemotherapy for a common type of lymphoma. Researchers are testing whether giving a drug called dexrazoxane before each chemotherapy session can protect the heart muscle. The trial will involve 324 adults with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma who are about to start standard chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this approach reduces heart problems without interfering with the cancer treatment's effectiveness.
