Summary

This study tests a new drug, ORC-13661, to see if it can prevent hearing loss in people receiving a strong antibiotic (amikacin) for a lung infection called NTM. About 105 adults will take either a low dose, high dose, or a placebo pill daily for up to 90 days. Researchers will compare hearing changes among the groups to find out if the drug works.
