Ear exercises may stop pain in hyperbaric chambers

Summary

This study tests whether doing simple ear-opening exercises can prevent ear pain and injury in people receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy. About 100 first-time patients will be taught these maneuvers and monitored for barotrauma. The goal is to reduce the main side effect that causes people to stop treatment.
