NCT ID NCT07476209
First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests two ways to prevent dry mouth caused by radiation therapy in head and neck cancer patients. One method uses a tiny scope to clean saliva ducts, and the other uses a special light to boost saliva gland function. 42 patients will be randomly assigned to one of these treatments or standard mouth care. The goal is to see which approach better protects saliva flow and quality of life.
